Using YOHIMBE to Intensify Sexual Pleasure

You can find almost a dozen Yohimbe products. Here's a variety that works reliably for me.

I think Viagra is more dependable and probably safer. But I do like to pop a few capsules of yohimbe extract and fuck the hell out of my woman every once in a while. I consider the fact that it gives me a hard-on like an oak pickhandle a pleasant side-effect, but I take it because of the blinding orgasms.

You know that feeling of electricity that you get in your cock and balls when you’re coming? Well, on the right dose of yohimbe that feeling starts early, lasts longer, spreads deeper through the body, and climaxes two to four times stronger than with "ordinary" sex. Using yohimbe for sex is, for my money, one of the best "Legal Drug" experiences available. It is reasonably safe when used properly, easily available in a standardized form, and it packs an interesting punch.

Yohimbe comes from a small tree that grows in west Africa, called, let’s see, corynanthe yohimbe, (in the unlikely event that any of us actually gives a shit). The active ingredient is found in the bark, and it has been used by the people of the region as a coffee-like stimulant and, in stronger doses, as a ritual fuel for extreme orgiastic village celebrations for thousands of years. I kid you not, look it up....

Back in the old days, before you could buy Yohimbe extract from any health food or bodybuilders store, we used to do the bark in teas. You could buy the reddish-brown corky-looking bark in the bulk herbs section of some health food stores, although you had to be quick, because the yohimbe bark jar always emptied faster than the peppermint jar, if you know what I mean. We brewed tea with 4, 5, or 6 teaspoons in a cup of water which gave you a buzz like a mix of 3-4 caffeine tablets and 3-4 ephedrine tablets, okay if you like a jittery, nerve-jangled, adrenaline-crunched headspace. I thought it was alright, but at $3.00 or so a pop, it was a lot more expensive than the aforementioned caffeine and ephedrine.

I was a college freshman, and if I’d had a girlfriend to be fucking at the time I probably wouldn’t have been spending near as much time in semi-lame "Legal Drug" experiments. So I didn’t discover the sex-enhancing potentials of yohimbe back then. I remember some fine jerking-off orgasms, but, hell, damn near any kind of drug at all produced that same effect at 18.

I rediscovered yohimbe about a half decade ago, way before the newest miracle drug Viagra hit the market and the airwaves with such a splash. At the time I was involved in a period of experimentation with those illegal white stimulant powders which are so demonized and so ever-present in this country of ours. That’s another long story, and a grim one, for another time. In any case, there is an infuriating side effect of those white stimulant powders that is, for obvious reasons, not commonly mentioned, and that is this. You feel aggressively, obsessively horny, but if you’ve been doing the powders at all heavily, when you start to fuck your dick gets soft. If you’ve been doing it really heavy, you have a hard time getting a hard-on at all. But, and here’s the real bitch, you want sex more than ever.

Let me tell you, this pissed me off to no end.

Happily, I stumbled across a book titled "Better Sex Through Chemistry", by John Morganthaler and Dan Joy, once rare but now available at amazon. In this book, which discusses the prosexual effects of a number of both over-the-counter and prescription drugs, Yohimbe and it’s active chemical component yohimbine hydrochloride is prominently featured. As I read claims that yohimbe caused harder erections and stronger orgasms I remembered my freshman experiments with yohimbe bark, and thought to myself, "Oh, right, yohimbe, I definitely gotta give that stuff another try.".

Better Sex Through Chemistry : A Guide to the New Prosexual Drugs and Nutrients.

Now you might think than an African bark would be a hard thing to get a hold of, and ordinarily you’d be right. However, a variety of over-the-counter preparations of Yohimbe bark and standardized yohimbe bark extracts are available. You may not find them in your local drug store or health food store (although you could check their shelves), but you will probably find them in the nutrition store at your mall, or in most shops selling body-building nutrients. What you want are the standardized yohimbe bark extracts. Some companies sell capsules containing the powdered bark, but as you may remember it takes tablespoons of the bark to produce a reasonable effect, so you would have to take a dozen or so large capsules of the bark alone to get small results. No way! The standardized extracts are pure, strong, concentrated and reliable doses of yohimbine hydrochloride. Yohimbe is still not what you would call cheap, though. My favorite is Actionlabs YOHIMBE POWER MAX2000, which is $28, twenty-eight damned dollars, for a bottle of 50 capsules, with 2 capsules as the effective dose. Go to the nutrition or odybuilders shop and do a little label-reading and comparison shopping; and through the miracles of the modern consumer economy this African bark love potion can be yours.

So anyway, I got myself some yohimbe, and gave it a try. The first time I took one capsule, and the results were promising, though not astounding. The second time I tried it, I took three capsules. I’d been up for about 48 hours, and was pretty wired. About 40 minutes after I took the capsules, I stood up from my chair and walked into an adjoining room. And my head spun and my knees went out from underneath me like they were made of butter. I caught myself going down, but ultimately it was by dumb luck that I avoided falling flat on my face.

Let that be a lesson to you. Yohimbe doesn’t mix with MAO inhibitors. If you take it with the wrong things you get a massive blood pressure drop. You faint like a girl. Don’t say you weren’t warned. If you take prescription drugs, check to be certain that the drug you are taking doesn’t have warnings about combining with MAO inhibitors. Be careful out there!

Now, I did in fact, after nearly fainting, get up, and I did feel fine after that, and I did go on to have a truly delicious fuck without a trace of the softening problem: in fact, I was damned big and hard. And I have used yohimbe many times since, and from experience have a number of suggestions, tips, and rules-for-safe-use.
